New Review

Just received a new review of ‘State of the Rivers and Streams’ in an Irish-centred Australian magazine. Small, but positive, it appeared in TAIN (Feb-March) and said among other things, ‘Warrick Wynne’s third volume divines water and geography into rhythms resonant of a home girthed by sea’. Written by Meg McNena it also said later ‘…this style is akin to Seamus Heaney’s when he also pays tribute to his family and celebrates the everyday’, which is the first time I’ve been compared to Heaney! and makes up for Australian Book Review, who tucked my little book in with a new book co-authored by poetry heavyweights, Peter Porter, John Kinsella and Sean O’Brien.
