Passenger by Laurie Duggan

As Laurie Duggan has already won the coveted Warrick Book of the Year for poetry twice! (for Blue Notes in 1991 and for Mangroves in 2004, and to be honest his book The Ash Range was unlucky not to win as well) I’m obviously a bit of a fan, so it was good to see a new book The Passenger out and about and reviewed today in The AGE.

While looking for a cover pic, I also found this interesting autobiographical piece by Duggan called Amaze Your Friends from ka mate ka ora, a NZ journal of poetry and poetics.
